Hello Team PTI, I being a responsible citizen of Pakistan and a supporter of a party that advocates justice even in its name want to point at something that needs to be addressed as i found it real tangible issue. here's a link of a article written in Express Tribune and has some serious concerns: http://tribune.com.pk/story/1067694/womens-rights-in-naya-pakistan/ I know this might not be the right forum to talk about it but there's no option to send a message on PTI official fb page so i had no other means of communication. In my visits to Tharparker recently, it has dawned on me that there has been no consistent policy of the Sindh government for this Arid region. This is the 3rd year of drought and Thar is mostly on its own while the government is satisfied going from crisis to crisis. The area has a moving population which centres around dug wells. Livestock is their main source of income. From what I hear nobody steals a goat, so no shepherds are visible.Read more
Karachi is a huge city with a population of about 20 million people. There is a consensus among environmentalists that big cities are large producers of Carbon Dioxide, while trees on the other hand, scrub this gas and release life giving Oxygen. The tree population in this city is too small compared to our population. The recent heat wave created havoc in our city, and among other things trees are beneficial because they encourage rainfall, increase cloud cover, and at the very least provide a shade for people to rest underneath.
We are starting a Sarsabz Puraman Karachi greening campaign. Our idea is to use the emotions and feelings generated in this current tragedy towards a positive and constructive effort to make Karachi Green.Read more

The situation of sewage drains and garbage accumulation is very severe in Katchi Abadis. The photograph you see is of the C Area which is between Hazara Colony in NA 250 and the Railway line just below the Defence Bridge. An open drain along side the bricks is also visible. There is a lot of garbage around and the children play there with the danger of falling into the drain because of plastic bags floating on top, the drain is not visible. Our NA250 team led by Mr Samar Khan and myself approached the Clifton Cantonment Board (CCB) to help lay a drain pipe line though the area is of the Railways.Read more
